Hi!
Well, after I thought about it for some weeks, now here it is:
AuthorsGuild is the name of the club for writers and artists who are interested in working together. Take a look and let me know what you think of it.
**Promotion - START **
Apart from that I'd like to do some shameless promotion for a new product. It's a 3D-Paint-Program that was done at Impara, a software company that specialises in edutainment and learn software. They pay me for adminstrating their servers and for helping out in some web programming which is why I was involved in doing the website for "Plopp". www.planet-plopp.de
It's really easy: You paint the front of an object and then you paint the back of an object. Then the program will make a 3D Object from this 2D sketches by blowing it up like a balloon! You can then position the object in 3D scene painting a background and a floor and adding more objects to it. You can send ecards directly from the program and submit work to an on-line gallery.
Of course it aims at young children (and those of us who still consider themselves children) and therefore has a colourful yet easy to use interface.
It is out in Germany now but hopefully will be published abroad as well. The website is in german (yet) but you'll get the idea.
**Promotion - END *
Ok, cu

Another year fading
It's more than six months ago that I last wrote here and I haven't been able to post regularly. I have not taken much photographs recently, too busy probably, and it's not going to change soon.
Since 2007 is about to end I summarized a bit and it has (by far) been my best year on dA since I came here... Thanks to all who commented or faved my photos, have a nice trip over to the next year, see you when I get there. *g*
1001 visitors
Yes, it's finally done, my counter now shows 1001 pageviews (like in 1001 Nights :)) and I wanted to thank everybody who has taken a look at my gallery and/or left a message.
I'm probably not so much a community person (maybe) but I always like what I see around here and the people I meet.
Plopp released as 'Free on Linux'
This for all you still-little or not-so-grown-up-yet artists around:
"The award winning 3D painting program "Plopp" has been released as "Free on Linux".
For more information go to http://planet-plopp.com or see the latest review at http://www.pcpro.co.uk/macuser/revie...002/plopp.html ("Hugely inventive, both in terms of its interface and its features, Plopp is truly innovative software.")."
Plopp is a 3D-drawing program that is as easy to use as imaginable: You paint your picture in 2D and the program inflates it like a balloon. You can then resize, rotate and move it on your scene and add backgrounds. It's very easy and it's a lot of fu
